Save Me 30

Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit. Why was I even acting like this? My hormones are going crazy, yeah, but I don't need to be acting like this. It needs to stop, now. 

"Nothing...just thinking." I told him but a small voice in the back of my head keeps on whispering I'm not good enough, that he doesn't want me. I bit my lip and buried my face into his neck. 

"Bella? Bella, talk to me, please?"

I shook my head no, was I acting like a child? Maybe. Didn't we just have this conversation earlier today? Yes. Did I still have my douts? Hell yeah. Should I still have them? Maybe?

"Why won't you talk to me?" he asked softly, running his hand through my hair

"Because I'm sleepy, let's talk later." I whispered softly

He sighed, "We will talk after you wake up, now sleep my Bella." 

"Okay..."

I nuzzled closer to him and kissed his neck, he hummed and kissed my forehead. The slow motion of his hand running through my hair was slowly lullying my to sleep. Darkness slowly took over before I knew it I was sleeping. 

My eyes slowly opened, seeing it was noon. I had slept longer then I wanted to, I slowly pulled away from the warm body that I was pinned to. I smiled as I looked down at my sleeping angel, he kept the dreams away this time hopefully it will stay this way. I kissed his lips softly then turned so my legs were hanging off of the side when a muscular arm wrapped around me and pinned me against it's owner. 

"And what do you think you are doing?" I asked him

"I'm simply helping you back into bed." he said as he nuzzled my cheek

"And what if I don't want to be in bed at this moment of time?" I asked him raising an eyebrow 

"'At this moment of time?' Really Bella?"

"Yes really, Edward. Now let me go."

"Five more minutes..."

"No, let me go. I have to use the bathroom then I'll come back then I will come back and lay with you." 

He tighened his arm around me for a moment then finally let me go. "Alright, but make it fast."

"I'll think about it." I told him slipping off of the bed

"But I'll miss you, if you are gone to long." He pouted 

"Suck it up, sweets." I smiled and shut the door before he could say anything

I went to the bathroom, and washes my hands. I looked up into the mirror and smiled a the refelection something I have done in forever. My bruise on my cheek was almost gone, I had a some what healthy glow. My body was still weak, but I was slowly getting better and it made me happy. I sighed and fixed my hair so it wasn't as messy and quietly opened the door and peeked out the crack to see Edward looking over at the door, I smiled like a huge idot. 

"Why don't you come out, Bella?" he asked a smile forming as big as mine and just as dorky

I opened the door and slid out and close it beind me. I walked over to him slowly just to tease him, I crawled next to him but staying as far away as I could.  

"Happy now?" I asked him

He grabbed my hand and pulled me over to him before he hovered over me. I blushed when I looked up at him, I turned my head to the side hiding. He cupped my cheek turning my head so I would look at him. 

"I'm happy now," He smiled

"Of course you are." I said narrowing my eyes at him

He slowly leaned down and kissed my lips, "Yes I am very happy more than you know I love you Bella." He murmured against my lips

"I love you too, more then ever." I whispered 

I felt his smile on my lips, he kissed me again then he started giving me angel wing kisses all over my face and neck making me giggle. 

"E-Edward, that tickles."

He chuckled and kept giving me kisses, my giggles turned to laughs when he removed his hand from my cheek and he starts tickling me. 

"Ahhh! E-Edward stop! P-Please s-stop!" I yelled through my laughs

He laughed along with me and shook his head, "Not until you say the magic words."

"Pretty please?"

"Nope,"

I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard, tears were running down my face then it came to me I was hoping I was right. "I-I love you!"

The tickling finally ended, I put my hand on my chest and tried to catch my breath. Edward chuckled and kissed my lips, "I love you too, angel."

"You are a jerk!" I poked his chest

"But you still love me, right?" He asked

"I have to think about it, now will you please get off of me?"

"Not until you say you love me." He said

I narrowed my eyes at him, but I couldn't stop smiling. "Well I guess I'm going to have to do this because I'm not telling you anything." 

I pushed on his side taking him by surprise and off of me. I jumped off of the bed and ran, at that moment I was happy my cast was finally. I carefully went down the stairs, and went out the back door I went to the garden. I layed on the ground smiling, my hand on my chest trying to calm my breathing down so I wouldn't give myself away. It wasn't much longer until I heard footsteps, I kept as queit as I could. 

"Bella, where are you?" Edward called

I smiled, "Come and find me." I sang

"Ready or not here I come." 

Hearing his footstep I slowly turned so I was on my hands and knees. He was coming closer I moved away quietly, I crawled away and turned so I was behind a flower box. I saw Edward he was looking where I once was, I slowly backed up when my knee snapped a twig. Edward's head snapped over looking where I was, he slowly crouched down, he was stalking me. I was his prey, he was my preditor. He was my lion, I was his lamb. My heart was pounding against my chest, the palms of my hands started to sweat. He started to move faster before I knew it he was infront of me. 

"My little lamb, I have found you." He teased

"Yes you found me, my lion but I am not afraid of you." I said

"Wrong choice of words my love." he said making a noise in the back of his throat sounding like a growl making my lower half come alive

Edward lunged at me, pinning me to the ground. His legs on eatch side of my hips, he pinned my hands above me, Edward's body against mine warming me. Our eyes locked his green orbs took my breath away, his eyes showed me everything. He was also searching for something in mine I just hope he found it and he was happy with everything else he saw.   

"You were saying?" He growled playfully with a smile playing on his lips

"You are truely very scary." I even gave him a fake shiver

"Good, I'm glad you see it my way." He kissed the tip of my nose

"Yes but I know you won't hurt me." I gave him a small smile

"That is very true, now guess what?"

"Oh no, what?"

"I'm going to kiss you." he said like it was the most obvious thing in the world  

I rolled my eyes and smiled, I tried to meet him half way but it was hard with my hands pinned down. Edward smiled and leaned down, his lips trailing down my jaw teasing me. His lips fianlly were pressed to mine I smiled into the kiss, I loved he feeling of his soft lips against mine, they were warm, and soft they made me feel wanted at this moment. 

"I have to tell you a secret." I mumbled against his lips

"What's that?" he said not even bothering to remove his lips

"This is our new hiding spot. This is my favorite part of the house."

"The best spot?"

I laughed, "Besides your room." I rolled my eyes

"Our room." He said fianlly removing his lips and his hands from mine. He switched postions, so he was laying on his stomach, his one leg in between mine, and his head on my shoulder. I could feel his warm breath on my neck, sending shivers down my spine. I looked down at him and smiled when I saw he was looking up at me. I kissed his forehead and began to play with his hair.  

"This is our spot." He agreed "You know when I was little I use to come out here and help Mom all of the time, it was fun because all I did was play in the dirt."

I laughed picturing little Edward all covered in mud helping Esme in the garden. "I bet you had tons of fun, I wish I was here to see it."

He hummed in agreement, my hand still playing with his soft bronze hair. He nuzzled into my neck leaving a soft kiss. He moved so he could look down, his forehead pressed against my neck his breath going down my chest. His rested his hand on my stomach, his thumb moving back and forth. I became selfconstios, why did he alway touch my stomach? Once the bandges come off it had to end, he wasn't going to feel my scars and everything else, not going to happen. I grabbed his hand and laced our fingers so he would stop. I could tell by the way his body shifted he wasn't happy, I sighed and kept moving my hand in his hair and kissed the top of his head. 

"I want to talk about what made you upset earlier today." Edward said

I sighed, "Its the same as in the kitchen," I fliped my hand and so we could look at the ring. "It's your promise I know, it's mine too. Just having some insecure problems, it's not your fault. Don't worry about me. It's silly."

"It's not silly." Edward said moving so he could look into my eyes. "You are my everything, please stop thinking other wise."

"I'm sorry, I will get over it, I promise."

"Don't be sorry, silly girl. When the right time comes, we will, don't you dare even think I don't want you because I do, god how I want you. But I want it to be special, not some random hormonal moment. Can you try to understand, how hard it is to say no and then see how crushed you are? It kills me to see you upset, I don't want to see you upset anymore. But when the time comes it will happen, I promise." he said with honesty

"I know...and I'm sorry for all 'hormonal moments'."

"Don't be sorry, I'm not." he winked and layer his head back down on my shoulder

I blushed deep red, "I bet you are." I mumbled and caressed his cheek

He chuckled and squeezed my hand, something that simple made my heart skip a beat. As my hand played with his hair he was making a noise in the back of his throat that sounded like purring, I smiled at the noise and kissed his forehead. 

"I love you." I whispered 

"And I love you."

"Do you think it will always be this way?" I asked him

"Be what way?"

"This..." I lifted our laced hands and lightly pulled his hair, he growled in response making me giggle. "Will we always be this way? Would we ever grow tired of eatch other?"

"No way, I don't think so, we will always be this way. Nothing will ever change."

"I hope so, I don't want anything to change." I buried my face into his soft hair, he squeezed my hand I knew he was promising that nothing will change. 

We stayed in the garden until my stomach made a big noise, Edward chuckled. "Its time to feed you." He teased

"No, I want to stay here longer." 

"You need to eat, we'll come back out after."

"But I'm really not that hungery, really."

He sat up and gave me a glare, "We'll be coming back, you are going to eat something you barely at breakfast."

"Fine." I glared back, stood up and walked away

"Oh no you don't." Edward growled took me in his arms, putting ne once again over his shoulder and started spinning.

"Ahh!" I screamed while laughing "Edward put me down!"

"Nope!" He laughed

He finaly stopped spinning, but my head kept on spinning he was just lucky I didn't throw up. He headed twords the house in a quick walk. 

"You are a jerk!" I slapped his butt once my head wasn't spinning

"Do that again I will spin again." He threatened 

"You wouldn't dare," I said in mock horror

"Try me." he said I knew be had a cocky grin on his face

Do I want to do it? Yes. Was it worth getting sick? Maybe. I slapped him again, then I was spinning I couldn't contain my laughter as he did it. It went shorter then I expected, trying to catch my breath from laughing. 

"Did you learn your lesson?" He asked setting me down on the wooden floor, I didn't realize we were at the door. 

"I don't think so, but that was enough...for now." I smiled, walking away to the kitchen

I heard talking in the kitchen, it was Esme she was on the phone with someone. 

"Kate, I've never seen him this happy before. Before it was like you had to beg him to give you just a little smile, now I realize he was worried about her. He wanted her safe, once he told me about her he had this huge silly smile on his face. I knew he loved her just by hearing it in his voice, but the next day he was his old self again and when it was about six at night he would get real happy, dropping everything to get to the computer to talk to her, Kate he was like a whole new person. The whole family has changed for the better it was like she was the missing piece and they are so happy together..."

I didn't listen to the rest of the conversation, I ran to Edward wrapping my legs around his wasit and my arms around his neck I crashed my lips to his. He caught me holding me tightly to him, not letting me fall. I fisted my hands in his hair, what Esme said made something snap inside me. I really did make him happy, he really does care, he really does love me. His right arm kept me to him and his left hand laced through my hair.

I pulled away a fraction of an inch and whispered, " I love you, Edward Cullen. I love you so much, you are my life, I don't what I would do without you." I told him taking in short breaths of air

"I love you, Isabella Swan. I don't know what I would do without you either, but we are together and it's going to stay that way."

"Forever?" 

He smiled his eyes filled with happiness, "Yes beautiful silly girl, forever, I wouldn't have it any other way."

I smiled and kissed him again, his hand tightens around my waist before slowly pulling away, setting me back on my feet he kisses the top of my head. Then he laced our fingers together and pulled me into the kitchen. Esme heard us walk in and started to whisper her goodbyes. 

"Who was that, mom?" Edward asked

"Your Aunt Kate, she's coming to vist in a couple of weeks." She smiled

"That's great, is the whole family coming with her?"

"Yes the girls are coming too, don't start Edward." She scolded

"Don't look at me, just have fun telling the rest of them." Edward said 

I looked up at him and raised an eyebrow, he just shook his head and gave me 'tell you later' look I nodded my head. My stomach made it's presenst known once again, I blushed and looked down at the floor. 

Esme laughed, "Woukd you like somethig to eat Dear?" She asked

"Yes please...if that's okay." I murmured, yes have access to food all of the time still bothered me, like I still needed permisson. 

"Of course Bella, you don't need to ask and since you made all of us a big breakfast you can have anything you'd like."

"I know, it's still new to me. I'll get used to it, hopefully. But you know what I haven't had in forever?"

"What's that?" They asked

"Grilled cheese and tomatoe soup." I blushed when I realized how simple it was. 

"Well that's what we're having for lunch then." Esme smiled and started to move around the kitchen

Edward pulled us to the counter and pulled out the seats to the bar. I whispered a thank you and sat down, he sat next to me taking my hand and started to play with the ring he had placed on my hand, only yesterday in this very spot. I smiled at him remembering that day, he smiled back I knew he was doing the same. 

"Oh Bella in the living room are those Twilight books, Alice had left them down here before she left for school." Esme said pulling me out of my daydream

"Oh, okay thank you. Maybe after lunch I'll start on those amazing books." I smiled teasing her

"Tease now Bella, but don't come running to me saying how truly amazing they are. I don't want to hear it." She said 

"Okay fine I won't, I'll just bug Edward about it." I smiled up at him

He groaned, "Thanks Mom." He glared at her, running his hand through his hair. 

She giggled and patted his hand, "You're welcome dear." She turned and started cooking again

He started mumbling under his breath I caught 'stupid ass book, going to hear about it the rest of my life."

I bit my lip trying to stop myself from laughing, I turned and look at Edward under my lashes. 

"Oh you think it's funny, don't you?" He asked 

"Maybe..." I answered

"I'll show you funny." he said

He grabbed me and started tickling my sides, I screamed in protest. "E-Edward stop! I'm sorry I didn't mean it!"

He laughed with me as he did it, after pleadig to him a couple more times he stopped with a huge smile on his face. I tried to catch my breath as I glared at him.

"You Edward Cullen are a jerk." I said after catching my breath

"That's not the first time you called me that." He rolled his eyes a smile still playing on his lips

"And so not the last." I grumbled

"Okay you two, cut it out and eat." Esme scolded but I saw the amusement in her eyes

She set our bowls and plates down, it looked so good. "Thank you, Mom, I really appreciate it." I told her

"You're welcome, sweets." She kissed my forehead 

She ate on the other side of the counter, we all ate in silence. It wasn't awkward, it was comfortable. Edward and I kept on tapping eatch other with our knees, Esme was trying to hide her smile but I saw it. She was so happy that her son had found happiness and I was happy that it was me that made him happy. Once I was done I washed my things and put them away, I thanked Esme again and told them I would be in the living room. I saw my laptop on the way and grabbed it, taking it with me. I grabbed the books and sat down on the couch tucking my feet underneath me, I grabbed the first book and started reading right away. Once I started I couldn't stop, the main character was very complex and her fasantion with this boy. I was so into my book I didn't even realize Edward was sitting next to me until he started to ay with my hair and softly kissed my temple making me jump. 

I felt his body shake with quiet laughter, "Sorry love, I didn't mean to scare you. I see you are really into the book, is it that good?" He asked

"Edward you have know idea, the girl is trying to figure him out she wants to know what his problem is but he won't talk to her! Edward I love you, but we can't talk at this moment." I kissed his cheek

"I'm being replaced by a book, thanks mom!" He yelled

I heard her laughing, I giggled and went back to my book. I unfolded my legs and told Edward to grab a book so he could read with his head on my lap as I played with his hair. He seemed to agree because he left and came back with a book, his head on my lap and he began to read, my hand began to play with his mane. I gasped when the girl almost had gotten hit by the van, but her knight and shining armor saved her. I grew angry when he didn't tell her what was going on, then he started to act like she wasn't alive. What was his deal? Okay...I was getting way into this book. After awhile I looked down and saw Edward asleep his book resting on his chest. I smiled and carefully took the book off of him and saved his place setting it on the table. When I moved forward Edward turned wrapping his arm around me keeping me in place, his nuzzled his face into my stomach. I froze, my body started to tingle when I felt his warm breath on me. Should I move him?Did I really want to leave him? I sighed and got comfortable again and started to play with his hair once again. I started thinking about it, I could see us still like this. Still very much in love, still wanting to be together never growing tired of eatch other as he said. I smiled and kissed his temple, I set my book down for a moment and just stared at my sleeping angel. Yes angel, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here, he was my knight and shining armor. He saved me from the evil dragon, and now we can live happily ever after. Right? Yes we would, nothing can break us apart now. As if Edward heard me his arm tightened around me in agreement. I started my book once again, my other hand messing with his hair. Every once in awhile Edward's arm would tighten, he would let out a deep breath making my body go ridged. All in all he was going to be the death of me, and I was okay with it. I was to the part where they were heading to his favorite place to be, when the gang came it. Edward must of heard them because he started to nuzzle deeper into my stomach, didn't he feel the bandages? I shurgged and told them silghtly to shut the hell up because he was sleeping, they didn't listen. They just went into the kitchen to bug Esme I think, I started to give Edward angel wing kisses from temple to his jaw and back, trying to wake him up. After the second circet he started to move around and started to mumble incoherently, I giggled and started to whisper in his ear. 

"Wake up sleepyhead, everyone is home."

"No." He grumbled

"Please? I want to see your beautiful green eyes, I want to see your smile, I want to see you awake because I don't like you like this." I told him

He looked up at me, his green eyes shining but still held some sleep in them and his beautiful crooked smile I couldn't help but smile back. "I see your beautiful brown eyes, I see your smile and I love you like this." He mumbled

I smiled a moved away a piece of hair that fell to his forehead, he sat up and stretched. I stood up doing the same thing, I realized I needed to change before we went anywhere. I sighed not wanting to change, I loved wearing Edward's clothing it smelled like him it made me feel safe some how.

"What's wrong Bella?" Edward asked

"I'm going to have to change and I don't want to." I pouted

He laughed, "I'll see if I can find something you can wear of mine."

"Thank you." I kissed his cheek

Lacing our fingers together Edward stood up, his hair even more of a mess since I've been playing with it all day. It looking more like a lions mane, thinking of our game and how wild his hair was started to make me laugh. Edward raised his brow asking me what I was laughing about. 

By the time I answered we were in the kitchen with the rest of them, "How wild your hair is and the game we played." I told him

"Whoa, what game where you playing and why IS Eddie's hair a mess?" Emmett asked wiggling his eyebrows

I blushed, "Not what your thinking Emmy we were playing hide a go seek, and I was playing with his hair while he was sleeping." I told him

"How sweet!" Alice said hugging Jasper closer to her

"You guys played hide and go seek without me?!" Emmett said with a pout on his face

I giggled, "Sorry Emmett next time I will make sure you are there." I told him

Rosealie just rolled her eyes, at her boyfriend but a smile playing on her lips. 

"Did Mom tell you who's coming?" Edward

"No who?" Alice asked

"Kate and the girls." He answered

The room was silent, what was wrong with them coming? Was I going to get an answer if I asked? 

"Edward, what's wrong with them coming?" I finally asked and wasn't expecting the answer that came out of his mouth.
